FS-1 Ranger

What are the product features that matter most to Wildland Firefighters?  After years of feedback from our customers we've developed our Wildland Fire Equipment to fit your needs. Coaxsher has three modular wildland fire packs that can be transformed to keep you prepared for whatever Mother Nature will throw your way. The FS-1 Ranger has all of this and so much more.
When the pack ships to you it’s already set up for your heavy-duty operations needs.  Have no fear, with a couple of un-clips you’re ready to go for a less demanding course. We are going to call the set up for heavy-duty operations Option A and the set up for the light-duty operations Option B.  Keep in mind that all pack components mentioned are modular so you can add/remove them as needed to the FS-1 harness.
FS-1 Ranger in Action featuring the Heavy Duty Option
Option A features the ergonomic FS-1 harness (hip-belt, back panel, shoulder straps), directly attached to the harness is the water reservoir case (Capable of holding up to a 100oz water reservoir which is sold separately), the 1500 cubic inch main pack is next which features a convenient amount of storage as well as easy to access pockets that are perfect for holding the majority of your gear needs along with water bottles/fusees on the side. The 400ci pack module attaches to the back of the 1500ci module.  Below these pack modules sits the Fire Shelter Case with our drop-down feature.  The drop-down system allows you to drop the fire shelter case down to release tension on your lower back while digging fireline.  When digging is done, you can reposition the fire shelter case back into the upright position for great comfort when hiking.
Option B features the ergonomic FS-1 harness (hip-belt, back panel, shoulder straps), directly attached to the harness is the water reservoir case (Capable of holding up to a 100oz water reservoir which is sold separately), next we drop the 1500ci pack module and attach only the 400 cubic inch pack module to the harness. (Keeping the 1500ci pack module close by will allow you to easily transform the FS-1 Ranger back to Option A within a few minutes)  Below these pack modules sits the Fire Shelter Case with our drop-down feature.  Now you’re thinking where am I going to store my water bottles? This wildland fire pack also features places to attach MOLLE or Alice clip accessory pouches (sold separately) on the hip-belt.
The FS-1 Ranger design provides you with great flexibility when needing to transform your pack.  With multiple setup options you’ll have a pack that can adapt to your specific work duties for that day.
Included within the ergonomic harness (hip-belt, back panel, shoulder straps) design is the DAS (Dual Action Stabilizer) system.  The DAS system comes on all FS-1 harnesses.  This system integrates a load-bearing strap with the hip-belt strap.  So when the user tightens the hip-belt the load-bearing strap also tightens providing greater stability and comfort.
If you’re hungry for superior Wildland fire equipment the modular FS-1 Ranger is sure to satisfy your appetite.  Just like you - the Coaxsher design team has a true passion for Wildland Fire Equipment and it’s demonstrated in the quality Equipment we provide.
